Seattle for the Yankees

A few weeks ago, Andrew and I went up to Seattle to see the Yankees play! It ended up taking us six hours to drive up there and four hours to drive home, but it was still a fun trip. The boys enjoyed staying the night at Nana and Papa's house. These are the only pictures that we have...maybe because it was such a long trip and I killed the battery in the iphone...but just maybe...

We had really good seats and pigged out and spent way to much money on ball park food and drinks. It was good, but it's a rip off. $8 for a beer? I could buy a lot more beer and food for that! But it was a fun memory with my husband!

My little studs...

Here are my two little studs last summer: Love those boys!

Our Jakey...

This is our Jakey...although he's not always so beat up anymore, but he still gets his fair share of bumps and bruises.

What a day!

I'm finally sitting down today...it's been busy! I babysat with the boys all day, flew home and Skyped with Grammy and the cousins in Ohio, had great friends over for dinner and for a swim, got the boys to bed, and worked on some volleyball stuff. And now I'm posting these pictures for you! I haven't been taking any new pictures, so these are all still pictures from Andrew's iphone. They are from back in March, but still cute:)

Fort...

Our boys are getting to the age where they don't just destroy the forts that we make anymore. Here's one we built in the spring with the boys:
And then we snuggled inside and read some books.
My boys are growing up!

Down the stairs...

This is a funny video from Andrew's phone from Christmas time with Andrew's family. We were getting ready to go outside and play in the snow. He found a different purpose for his snow suit.

No wonder most of our girls nights end up like this:

I don't even remember...

I don't even remember when our family just consisted of this:

Or of this:

It seems so long ago!

I am so excited I finally got all Andrew's pictures and videos from his iPhone. Look for some fun pictures to come!

Blueberries...Never Again!

We went blueberry picking a few days ago with a few friends. I will never go blueberry picking again. I've been picking berries five times this summer already, and loved it! We've come home with dozens of pounds every time and made jam, and froze some for the winter. This was my first time for blueberries, and it was no fun! For one, the berries are not ripe just because they are blue. Annoying. They are so small, and it takes a lot of them to fill up a bucket! We were gone for several hours and all I came home with was a small bowl, not enough to even freeze any! Thank goodness for good friends, or I would have lost my mind! We did have a good cobbler, thanks to Sarah and Kellie, and we enjoyed dinner together, so I guess that was worth it.

So if you want to go and pick berries together, I'd love to go! As long as it's not blueberries...

Swimming!

Everyone!

We've been loving having our pool this summer and have been using it every chance we get! The boys love the water and would be up there for hours each day if we'd let them be. We had some friends over the other night for a bbq and to swim, here are just a few pictures.

Noah is just learning to swim, it's fun to see how much he's progressed even just from this video!

Video

One of my favorite things about our camera is that it can take video too. I was looking back at some of our pictures tonight and saw this video from camping a few weeks ago. My boys are nuts. I love it.

This next one is from a long time ago when Noah's friend was spending the night. He thought his sleeping friend wanted to rip his head off. Jakey still has a binkie so I know this one was from a while ago!

Here's also a picture I can't remember if I posted of Noah and my mom. This is the picture he made for her. After this picture he added the rest of the package of those little balls, so now the whole thing is covered with them. ;0

Lifegroup Camping 2010

I just realized I never posted pictures from our lifegroup campout! We went to Fort Stevens almost a month ago where we had beautiful weather, great times and lots of bugs. This year it was just our two kids, but next year we could have seven kids! I love that our families are growing up together. It really amazes me how we signed up for a random lifegroup and ended up making such great friends. I guess the Lord knows what we need and blessed us!
Jumping! It felt good just to be a goof and to be the weird ones at the beach jumping off the cliffs. I do have to say that after I talked my friends into jumping with me, everyone else on the beach soon followed suit. ;)

Fun with Friends...

We had some couples from our lifegroup over last night for dinner and dessert. It's always fun hanging out with such great friends. We had church at the park last night and then had dinner and enjoyed being outside...until the bugs came out. The guys built a fire, and we all enjoyed an amazing banana cake my friend made...yum! Perfect for the night before my race:)
Love this kid and his cute little face:)

Nate and Anne...notice the belly...she's going to have her baby any day and look how good she looks!!!

More flips

I'm sure you're probably getting sick of my boys flipping...but they've made some progress in the past two days! Noah started flipping with no hands tonight, it's so funny to see such a little boy flipping so fast and without fear! I did some flips on the trampoline yesterday and I got so light-headed after just doing 3 or 4. And he's done a ton tonight!
